So, after much encouraging from my roommate Char, I finally decided to go ahead and create a profile here.

I am currently working on getting together my work for the student art show. Students with art scholarships have to submit 10 pieces. This show is going to be a pretty big deal, with submissions from every grade and category. Submissions will be judged by faculty, and awards will be given to exceptional pieces.

{it's a bit stress-inducing, not to mention nerve-wracking!}

As far as what I have submitted to the site thus far, a portion is from high school work that I entered into the scholastics competition last year: "Thoughts set free," "Afloat," and "The lonely wood."

A few of the others are photographs of my work as they were displayed in the Goldfish gallery here at the university last month for the drawing show.

Hopefully I will have more work to submit here when things are slightly less hectic.
